GM Coachwork are delighted to sponsor Colin Edwards on his epic run along the South West Coastal Path. The route covers 630 miles with an ascent of 115,003 feet or four times the height of Everest! Colin will be running 10 miles a day for 63 days, kicking off in Minehead.

ABOVE: GM Coachwork CEO, Dave Vooght, wishes Colin Edwards good luck the day before he left on his epic journey
Colin lost his leg in a motorcycle accident in his youth but before the accident had ran cross country for Devon, boxed for the South West region and played rugby for his local club. It wasn't until his mid forties he began running again. Slowly his fitness improved until he was able to run marathons and severe off road races. This level of fitness allowed Colin to undertake fundraising expeditions such as Base Camp Everest and the summit of Cocopaxi (Ecuador) raising considerable sums for limbless charities. His current challenge is in aid of the charity PORT-ER.
