Sponsorship
GM Coachwork are extremely lucky to be involved with two very special sporting activities.
TRURO POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL and STUART WARNER
GM have formed a really close relationship with Stuart through various events. Stuart has become an ambassador for GM Coachwork, spreading his enthusiasm throughout the UK and it is always a pleasure to work with him.

STUART'S STORY
Having lost both his legs whilst serving in the Royal Artillery Stuart is a true inspiration and role model who shows that physical impairment shouldnt stop anyone from achieving anything they want to if they put their mind to it.
After the loss of his legs Stuart feels that the experience of crewing the Lord Nelson tall ship recaptured his positive attitude and motivation towards life and is now determined to show others in similar situations what they can achieve. "I'm so pleased I was given the chance to prove myself and get that buzz back" Stuart continues to set and achieve goals and challenges including Quad Biking, Archery, gliding and Kayaking down the River Tay's ‘GrandTollie' run.
As an ex-serviceman, Stuart is also a Welfare Officer for BLESMA; the British Limbless Ex-Service Mans Association and is heavily involved in charitable fundraising. Stuart also voluteers in army simulation training exercises which help prepare and train soldiers for deployment.

RICHARD DAVIES - TRAINING TO TAKE PART IN THE PARALYMPICS 2012
GM Coachwork are really proud to announce our sponsorship of Richard Davies. Richard contacted GM a few months ago and after speaking with him we were so impressed with his talent, determination and ability, we decided to help him on his way to becoming a Paralympic champion.
RICHARD'S STORY
"I have been paralised for 19 years, this was the result of a freak swimming pool accident, I have never let this stop me from filling my life with great ambitions and doing anything I can do in a wheelchair. You can sit back and just do nothing or you can be the best you can, you beat it or it will beat you ! ...and nothing has ever beaten me.
After my accident I took up sports, I have played wheelchair rugby for GB over 14 years but now a father of three kids I stopped playing rugby at international level and took up shooting, not just big guns with big bangs, its a more composed type of shooting I now do; 10m indoor target air rifle.
Since I started 2 years ago things have been going great; competeing in the british championships and national wheelchair championships, I have gained a place on the GB shooting devolpment team and this year alone I have shot in Turkey, France and Spain, collecting the odd medal or two.
This has been a great year and at the end of December I drive to luxemburge again in my converted wheelchair driver vw Caravelle from GM Coachwork, hoping for more sucssess in shooting, 2012 is my ambition and with the right equipment and of course dedication who knows what I can achieve!
