MOBILITY, INDEPENDENCE AND FIRST CLASS TRAVEL

 

The VW Caravelle Vermont drive-from wheelchair vehicle features a remote operated inboard lift and tailgate and a levelled floor. Once inside the Vermont gives you the option to:

  • Transfer from your wheelchair to drive
  • Drive from your secured wheelchair
  • Sit in your wheelchair in the passenger seat position

Once inside, use the remote key fob to close the tailgate, manoeuvre yourself in the drivers position and your journey can begin. You can also transfer to the driving seat, if desired, via a 6-way power transfer seat (available as an option). The wheelchair can be secured into either driving or passenger positions.

The VW Vermont comes in three different conversion types; A, B and C. The difference in each of the types can be seen in the driver's area only
